Millie-if the restaurant thing doesn't work out, a beautiful spot to pop the question could be the garden in the Rodin Museum, which is right next to the Invalides which will have sort of a view of the Eiffel Tower!This is sooo romantic:)

When I lived in Paris, my friend and I had a favorite way to horrify our French friends. We'd tell them about one of our favorite restaurant, located on Avenue Hoche off of L'Etoile. Service was always friendly and efficient, very affordable, consistent food. From the second floor (French first floor), there was a lovely view of the Eiffel tower.<BR><BR>It's a McDonald's.
