Gettting to Stansted from Heathrow/Gatwick...

Hi everyone. I'm wondering, does anyone know how long or difficult it is to get from either Heathrow or Gatwick airport in London to Stansted airport? How much would a taxi be? or other options?

thanks so much in advance.

The last time I did this (Sep 99), there was an excellent non-stop bus, operated by Cambridge Coach. I got as good a nap as I did on my entire trans-atlantic flight. Camridge Coach was were acquired by National Express, the bus service for all of England, and they operate under the website name of www.gobycoach.com - - you can find fare and schedule info there.

Basically, there are departures every hour at 40 minutes past, and it takes 85 minutes. 16 GBP one-way, or 20 GBP return.

Best wishes,

Rex
Agreeing with Rex, having x-ferred from Gatwick to Stansted in June. Taxi was 110 GBP. If I had been paying for it, I would've taken the bus.
