Getting to the Frankfurt Hahn Airport
 

I am staying in Heidelberg and flying out of Frankfurt Hahn. Through www.bahn.de I have discovered that it is just over an hour train ride from Heidelberg to Frankfurt (Main) Hbf. My question is, how can I get from the main train station in Frankfurt to Frankfurt Hahn? I looked on the airport's website and I didn't see anything about a train. Is taxi the only way to the airport? Also, am I missing an easier way to get from Heidelberg to Frankfrut Hahn? Thanks!

sorry, it's actually train to Mainz, then bus to Hahn airport.

The problem is that Frankfurt-Hahn is more of a marketing name than a geographical location - it's far from Frankfurt.

Looks like you can take the Hahn Express bus which leaves from the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof. It's 18 euros and the trip takes 2 hrs and 20 mins.
