Getting to Bagni di Lucca
 

I will be in Florence in April and want to take a day-trip to Bagni di Lucca to visit the Fontanini factory.

What's the best way to get from the Lucca train station to Bagni di Lucca?

I just checked trenitalia.com. There are numerous trains from Lucca. The trip is about 30 minutes.

I was interested to find out what Fontanini was, so I googled them. On the company website, I found this address information:

I guess you could use the above email address to ask about visiting the factory. The address above seems to be in Borgo a Mazzano. Is this the same factory? On the website, they show a big picture of the factory above this contact information.

Thanks for the feedback -- I found that if I break the train trip into two segments, I can price it.

Interesting info on the factory. It looks like Borgo a Mozzano is in Lucca. Now I am confused. I will try the e-mail address referenced.

Borgo a Mozzano is a village about halfway between Lucca and Bagni. Do not miss the Devil's Bridge near there.
