GETTING THE BEST SEATS

Does anyone have any tips on how to get the aisle seats. I have reserved seats WAY in advance in the past and always get a different seat, usually in the middle

Even if you have booked your ticket with an agent book the seat directly with the airline if you can. Can't say I've ever had a major problem.

additionally use the seat guru web page to select the best seat you can

Hi indy,

Have you called the airline and asked to change your seat assignment?

I too like the aisle seat but have never had a problem. If I can't reserve the seat in advance I just make sure I show up to check in early and nicely ask the ticket agent if there is an aisle seat available and have always been able to get an aisle seat that way. Sometimes I am lucky and the emergency exit is available and I get that little bit of extra leg room as well.

i use online check in several hours before the flight. you can choose your seat in the diagram of the plane.

If you belong to the airlines frequent flyer club, you can often register your seating preferences on their websites. I've nearly always had my seating request honored when booking. If not, I call the airline and ask for a different seat assignment.

And by doing online check-in, you get to browse the seating chart to see if there are better seats available. If all this fails, get to the airport early and request a different seat at check-in.

If possible, use online check-in & consult seatguru.com for the best seats.
