Getting Married in Italy in Sept or Oct

Planning simple wedding in Sept/October 2005! in Italy in either Lake Como or venice.
Will it be too cold in Lake Como? We want sun &70's.
Any experience with wedding planners in Italy?? Any help would be appreciated.

Sun and 70's really can't be predicted. The later your trip gets, the higher the likelyhood that you'll see some rain and that the northern areas will be colder.
Alsp, are just starting to plan? Do you have rooms? September, for instance , is quite booked in Bellagio.

Dear b,

It is August and you want to plan a wedding in a foreign country no later than 10 weeks from now?

May I suggest that you have your simple wedding at home and honeymoon in Italy?

It will be hard enough to arrange that.

I am gettting married in Rome in September! I have been working with a planner that works for Wedding's Italy (www.weddingsitaly.com.) She has been absolutely easy to work with and she is taking care of everything! I'll report back when I return to let you know how it all turned out! But as faras the planning, she has taken it all off my hands...

Hi AA,

When did you start planning?

I can recommend a wonderful planner we used in Venice for our vow renewal ceremony. If you're interested, email me at [email protected].

I agree that planning a wedding in Italy in a few short weeks will be daunting. We planned for about four months and ours required no legal logistics. I don't know if you have enough time for the dates you are looking at, but it might be worth looking into if you are planning something very simple.
