Getting Married in Cinque Terre

I visted Vernazza last year in the heart of Cinque Terre and I am planning to get married there in May. We are having a ceremony there but we will have the actual civil cermemony in San Diego. Has anyone else done this recently and if so do you have any tips. Please email me @ [email protected]
Thanks.

No idea - but as I mentioned before on this site - check out all the paperwork that you will need to get married abroad - its not funny!

Are you getting a planner? More info plz. Will you be travelling anywhere else in the area? Do you know about the paperwork requirements. Civil or religious ceremony?

Nice choice! Are you getting married in the church there by the little harbor? You may inquire as to its availability as there might be a fee to use it. May is busy with tourists and Vernazza is always full, as it seems to be the most popular of the 5 Cinque Terre towns. How fun, best of luck to you!

Thonglori planned much of her wedding last year on Fodor's. Here is a link to one of her posts and you can click on her name for other posts.

Since you will already be married what's to be concerned about?
