Getting from Toscolano to Malpensa airport

I'm hoping for some help from those of you so skilled with the railway/bus/boat options around Lake Garda, where I'll be spending a few days this month with a friend in Toscolano.

I have a flight out of Malpensa at 10 AM on the 27th, so I've reserved a hotel room at the airport. Near as I can tell, I'll have to take a bus from Toscolano to Desanzano, a train to Milan Centro, another short hop to Cadorno (train or subway? not clear to me), and then the Malpensa express. Then of course hotel shuttle.

Is there a clever way to cut out a change or two? I couldn't find any direct bus service to the airport. I did find a car shuttle from Toscolano, but the cost was 229 euros, which is too hefty.

Thanks in advance for any good ideas.

From Milano Centrale you do not have to go to Milano Cadorna.

The Malpensa Express also runs trains from the Centrale station. Alternatively there is a regular bus/coach service to Malpensa.

There is a bus that goes between Brescia airport and Malpensa, so if you could get to Bresica airport, that might save you time and changes.

Thank you both very much. Not sure why Trenitalia sent me through Cadorno. I'll also check the Brescia link, might be easier.

Take a bus from Toscolano to Brescia, change there to a train to Milano Centrale and finally to another one from Milano Centrale to Milano Malpensa Terminal 1.

for example:
Toscolano dp 16.37 - Brescia Bus Terminal ar 17.40
Brescia train station dp 18.09 - Milano Centrale ar 18.55
Milano Centrale dp 19.25 - Malpensa Terminal 1 ar 20.17
If your hotel is closer to Gallarate than to the airport, you may NOT change at Milano Centrale as the train Bescia dp 18.09 continues to Gallarate ar 19.55.
For other solutions have a look at
http://www.lagodigarda.it/uploads/model_58/s202.pdf
http://www.trenitalia.com/trenitalia21.html
enter Brescia - Milano Centrale and Milano Centrale - Malpensa aeroporto separately in order to avoid the misleading solution via Cadorna (a few min faster).

Use Trenord to search your trains (search Desenzano/Malpensa). They operate the trains in Lombardy.

Wow. Thank you so much. I'll check to see if I can take a bus from Toscolano to Brescia airport, and then another bus straight to Malpensa. Hotel has free shuttle from terminals 1 and 2 if I time it right.

Note that the Malpensa website states that the Brescia bus is by request only.

Wondering whether anyone may have tried it?

But have found these links which might help -

http://www.airshuttlenord.com/index_E.html

http://www.orioshuttle.com/_eng/pdf/OS_03_ENG.pdf if you can connect from Toscolano either to Bergamo or Orio al Serio

Buses from Toscolano to Brescia railway station and trains from there to Milano C run every hr.
The solution via Orio al Serio might work like that:
Toscolano dp 14.29 - Brescia train station ar 15.47, dp 16.30 - Orio al Serio 17.30/18.00 - Malpensa ar 19.45, except Sundays. Bus fare Brescia - Malpensa: 30 EUR
I suggested the solution Toscolano dp 16.37 - Malpensa ar 20.17,
train fare Brescia - Malpensa: 32 EUR (or 19 EUR if you take a regional train).
In both cases, you will have to change twice.
