Getting from Rome to Paris

It looks like from all the messages that flying is a better option than the train for Rome to Paris. However, I only found that Ryanair flies this connection. Does Volare as well, b/c I did not see it on their website? Any other airline recommendations for getting from Rome to Paris (On a Sunday this August).

This site provides comparisons for many airlines that offer inter-Europe flights. Have fun!

I guess you can ignore my response - I ran a quick search for you and only see Ryanair listed. Sorry.

Are you sure that easyjet.com doesn't serve Rome (CIA) to Paris (ORY) also? Much more convenient than "Paris" Beauvais (BVA), served by Ryanair.

Best wishes,

Rex

Me again! Is there a reason you don't want to fly Ryanair? It doesn't look like it flies into one of the major airports and I have no idea how far from the city it is - so maybe that's why. BUT - the fare looks to be around 60 Euro which sounds pretty good to me!

I did the Ryanair thing from Rome to Paris and found it very easy. The bus from the airport in France is right there waiting and it's really no big hassle getting into Paris.

<<Me again! Is there a reason you don't want to fly Ryanair?>>

Is this directed at me? or "toparis"? All things being equal (i.e., fares equal, departure times comparable), ORY is a better option than BVA, in my opinion. I have been to both - - and I understand what Delirious is saying that despite the distance - - it is not that bad.

On another note...

<<Does Volare as well, b/c I did not see it on their website?>>

Huh? Is Volare flying again outside Italy, at all? Not that I know of...

Nothing on volareweb.com to indicate it...

Hi Rex, the question was posed to the original poster. I wasn't sure that toparis did or not want to fly Ryanair and that's why they were asking for other airline ideas. I've never flown that route and was curious. Delirious posted after me so I didn't see the firsthand experience posting. I wasn't trying to dispute your information.
