Getting from Rome to Languedoc

Does anyone have an idea of the fastest way to travel from Rome to the Toulouse/Perpignan/Marseilles? We need to find a one-way train or flight to meet up with the rest of the family at a rental villa in Languedoc, France.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

Hi

I'm not aware of direct flights (cheap or not !) from Rome to Languedoc.

You can get Rome - Girona (which is only 60km from the French border) with Ryanair.

If you need to arrive in Languedoc, the easiest way may be to grab a cheap flight from Rome to London, then fly back to Languedoc.

I've got Languedoc flights listed here : http://www.the-languedoc-page.com/la...ourism-air.htm

There is an overnight train with sleepers and couchettes from Roma to Nice, and plenty of trains from there to Marseille and beyond. Try www.bahn.de for schedules.

Jenpen - The budget airline AirOne fly Rome (FCO) to Nice if that's any use.

Hi jen,

Try this at www.whichbudget.com

Rome Ciampino to Paris Beauvais on RyanAir.

Paris Orly to Toulouse on EasyJet.

Leave plenty of time for the connection.

You can also take the night train from Rome to Nice and then on to Toulouse.
