Getting from Malaga to Paris - do you recommend a train?

Just checking to see if the train service from Malaga to Paris is a good way to go. I have a day and a half to get up there to meet someone and thought it better than using an airport.

Any thoughts on the subject?
Thanks!

The simplest connection would be by AVE from Malaga at three in the afternoon to Madrid, then a hotel train to Paris, arriving before nine in the morning.
If you have more time, you could break the journey somewhere. That would depend on which places you want to visit.

Oh nice! Ok... like in Madrid or something. Thanks so much for the info!

I would fly. It is usually cheaper and tons faster and then you can have a day in Paris.

"... you can have a day in Paris."
Using the night train, you can leave Malaga in the afternoon and get to Paris the next morning. By plane, if you left Malaga in the afternoon, you'd get to Paris in the evening, so you wouldn't gain an extra day.
By train, you could break the journey in Madrid or Burgos, or take a different route.
