Getting from Florence to Maranello - No Car
Greetings, Friendly Fodor's Foks. =)
We have an upcoming trip to Italy, and one of our planned activities is to take a day trip from Florence to Maranello to visit the Ferrari museum. We decided not to rent a car for the trip, so I'm trying to figure out the transportation for this day.
It looks like we should be able to take trains from Florence to Modena to Sassuolo (and then a short bus ride from Sassuolo to Maranello), but when I look on trenitalia, all options from Firenze to Sassuolo are listed as "NA". I don't want to actually by the tickets through trenitalia; I'm fine with waiting until we get there and purchasing at the station. I'm just trying to make sure that I'm understanding correctly and trains will be available when we arrive to get us from Florence to Sassuolo (and back!).
Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated; thanks in advance!

I guess I should have done some more google searching before posting here; there is a bus that runs directly from Modena to Maranello. This site (http://notthat1.blogspot.com/2007/12...llo-italy.html) gives a lot of detail on exactly how to accomplish this.
I would still like to understand why the trenitalia site lists train schedules/options between Modena and Sassuolo, but they are all "NA". If anyone can clear that up for me, I'd appreciate it.

The NAs are probably because you are looking at costs and schedules for Regionale (R) trains, which can not be purchased online more than a week in advance. (And probably shouldn't be purchased online because onlne purchse of R train tickets have more restrictions than just waiting and buying a ticket in Italy.
Try using a date this coming week to look at the same trains.
