Getting from Florence airport to Vernazza via the train
 

Could anyone tell me how to get from the airport in Florence to the train station that will take me to Vernazza in the Cinque Terre? We are arriving in Florence on Saturday May 2.

Sorry, I read Varenna not Vernazza. But, Pisa is the closer airport.

Thanks Steve. I have the information that I need now. And, yes, I realise that Pisa is the closer airport, Bob, but my friend and I are meeting in Florence, as that is the most viable option for us. She's using her aeroplan points (what a pain that is) and I'm using my visa infinity points. It was a real challenge coordinating the two plans in order to meet at the same airport at relatively the same time (within four hours!)
