Getting From Dublin to London

What is the best mode of transporation for this? Sorry if I am asking a question that has already been posted, but there were soooo many matches for these destinations, I could not find one that answered this question specifically. We originally thought of flying, but my Mom says there is a train. What about renting a car and driving?

OK, I'll bite, on the chance that this question is for real. You do know that you have to cross a large chunk of ocean to get from one to the other, no?

Fly. There is a boat, as well, but it is likely to cost about the same, and takes longer. The boat is a ferry, so you technically could put a car on the boat, but most rental car companies frown on your taking their cars across via channel ferry.

And to add to Ryn's comment - even if you did take a ferry you would end up in Wales or Liverpool which are a LONG way from London.. . . Fly.

I knew that, someone said differently. I should have relied on my own eyes, because any map will show you this. Thanks for biting.

Since the ice has already been broken to provide info that many of "the rest of us" (those who visit here frequently) consider obvious - - the low-cost carrier of choice for this route is www.ryanair.com

No doubt there are other carriers, and you can check out additional options on www.opodo.com

Best wishes,

Rex
