Getting from Campi Flegri Naples to Sorrento
I made a ES reservation from Rome to Naples but it goes to the Campi Flegri station. Can I get a train from there to Sorrento or must I take another train to the Garibaldi Station first? I am traveling in late September so any advice would be appreciated

The Circumvesuviana train that goes to Sorrento does not go to Campi Flegrei. You can take a train from Camp Flegrei to Piazza Garibaldi, but the trains are not very frequent.
You might consider exchanging your ES ticket for a train to Napoli Centrale (same as Piazza Garibaldi but a floor up) when you get to Rome. You can do so without charge if you do it before your ticketed train leaves.

Hi Sandgas - You don't have a problem.
ES trains from Rome which stop at Campi Flegrei do NOT finish there.
They continue to Piazza Garibaldi - which is the station you want for Sorrento trains.
Ideal You do not even have to change station ...
Re-check the link and you will see that Piazza Garibaldi is listed for the train you've booked:
http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html
Hope this helps ...

HI S,
If you are booked on a train that lists theses stops: NA P.GA, NA C.FL, NA MERG
the ones in red are intermediate stations. The one in black is the final stop.
All ES* terminate at Garibaldi.

Even if you did alight at Napoli Campi Flegrei, there are frequent Metropolitana trains to Napoli Piazza Garibaldi where you catch the train to Sorrento - they run every few minutes, and trains to Sorrento run twice every hour.

To all thanks for the info I checked and this train goes to all the stations in the Naples area so I just will alight at Garibaldi. This train thing can be a bit intimidating but I am up to the challenge--now to firgure out the Cicumvesuvia line and I am all set

Circumvesuviana is a snap - two trains an hour or more - a commuter train just buy tickets at entrance - all of 3 euros i think Naples Centrale/Garibaldi to Sorrento, end of the line.
There is a marked passage from Centrle-Garibaldi to the CircumVesuviana station.

Ira - Piazza Garibaldi is never the final stop for ES/ IC trains.
Trains through Piazza Garibaldi do not terminate there - they are through trains which normally continue south to Palermo or Reggio Calabria.
