I've got the time off, and I think I've got a plane ticket figured out (geez looweeze the airfares are awful - I'm puddle-jumping across the US using ff miles, cheap local airlines...) so I will be in Paris 5/24 thru 5/26 (depart 5/27 afternoonish). I'll be in CDG 5/24 morning, so if you're there...

Melissa, Jeff, Nancy, Liz - looks like we'll be in Paris at the same time. I use my real email address if you want to contact me about a get-together. That weekend is a big to-do, a fete de Paris, street performers, theatre groups, all sorts of free stuff. The main stuff is at the Hotel de Ville plaza, then more stuff at the Bastille, then stuff throughout the different neighborhoods (this is why I'm going).

Does Saturday sound like a doable?

Jeesh, Monica...I miss you at the recent DC get-together in DC and now you're in Paris exactly between my two trips, one in April and one in June. I guess DC is a better venue for getting together (though I'll be gone in April and June and you'll be gone in May). Maybe July???

Well, my last message didn't post, so here we go again:

Melissa, no can do with an extension of my trip, but that would be nice! I hope you can meet up with Elvira and the others. Where in Hawaii are you from? I grew up in Hawaii Kai (graduated from Kaiser). My sister-in-law and family live in Kailua.

StCirq, I'm planning a get together on May 4th. Hopefully you'll be around to join us! Email me directly if you can make it.

OMIGOD Monica, what a small world! My sister, who posts here once in a blue moon, was a teacher at Kaiser till about 1995: Mrs. Chock (not to be confused with Mrs. Chuck). If you are from 1995 or prior, we know some people in common, for sure.

I live right in downtown near all the cemeteries. Yup! You know what Avenue that is.

Yes.....in fact at that time I think she was teaching the yearbook class and photography. She may have been the cheerleading advisor, too. I'm having lunch today with D. Uchiyama who was one of the famous Class of 76?? Maybe you know him. This island is way too small!
