I will travel to Germany on March ,and plan stay at Black Forest for 3 days,then go to Munich,Stuttgart,Fussen,Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Salzburg.After visit Salzburg ,I will back to Munich.
If I have Genermany railpass ,could I use it to take all kind of public transport,ex ICE,RE,IC,S, and Bus without charge?

As a general rule, you can use it to get between all the citis you mention, but you cannot use it on the inner-city transport systems.

Are you really planning to visit those cities in the order you gave them? It seems like it would be a lot smarter to visit Stuttgart first.

If you are traveling directly from Fussen to G-P, you may need to use the bus because the train requires a long detour. Some buses are covered by the railpasses (usually the ones called "Regiolinie") but others are not. I'm not sure about the bus between Fussen and G-p.

Where are you staying in the Black Forest? In certain towns, the hotel or Pension hosts will issue you a guest card that allows you to travel for free on all public transport within the area. You should ask your host about it if you plan to use the trains or buses.

Day1:From London to Frankfurt-Hahn ,and take bus to Mainz

Day2:Go to Baden-Baden to enjoy SPA and go to Freiburg in the afternoon

Day3:Still have no picture where to visitin Freiburg and neighberhood

Day4:Visit Freiburg then go to Munich in the noon

Day5:From Munich to Fussen and Schloss Neuschwanstein.Take one night in Hohenschwangau

Day6:From Hohenschwangau Schwang via Fussen to Salzburg

Day7:Visit Salzburg and come back to Munich in the evening

Day8:Go to Metzingen Boss Outlet for shopping and come back in the evening

Day9 & Day 10:Visit Munich and take City Night Link to Amsterdam

Please advised me how to buy the ticket is economist for me.I plan to buy 6 days Germany Rail pass and get KONUS-Gästekarte from hotel ti travel Black Forest free.Meanwhile,in the inner-city transport ,how to save money?Thank you

Maybe it's my age, but this itinerary looks exhausting. For 8 or nine days, you might consider staying in 2 or 3 towns and day-tripping to where you want to go. Munich, for example, would be a great base to take in Salzburg (2 hrs by train) Fuessen/Hohenschwangau (same) and then time in the city itself. You then don't waste half a day each move packing/unpacking and getting to/from a hotel. Also, you then could do an individual or group Bayern Landeskarte that allows up to 5 people to travel on certain trains, city transportation and busses from 9am til 3am the next day for around 15/25 Euro.

You can check all the German fares on www.bahn.de - German rail official web site with schedules and prices in euros. The pass, especially the Twin Pass could well save you money it seems but compare for yourself. An easy way to get the German site's English schedule page is to visit www.budgeteuropetravel.com and on the home page click on the link All European Train Schedules and instantly up pops the schedule page - and the budget europe site gives several tips for using the bahn site. So compare fares - if in US and buying the pass i always recommend Budget Europe (800-441-2387) as they have no mailing fee usually vs RailEurope's oft $15 fee, even though they work thru RailEurope and are so knowledgeable. And your railpass is good on S-Bahn trains in cities like Stuttgart and Munich, but of course only on the six days you will be actually using the pass for free travel, not during the rest of the one month period. Since you're going to Amsterdam you may also want to consider the Benelux-Germany railpass that would cover the ICN train fare in full and provide passholder rates for sleeping accommodations. the pass is not valid on any buses except those used as substitutions for rail service. Also not good on U-Bahns in cities - underground metros only on S-Bahns, which in Munich for example act like metros - S bahns are run by the German railways, thus railpasses are valid on them - U-bahns run by local authorities do not honor railpasses. Stations clearly have a big S or U outside them so you can tell the difference. S-Bahns run right thru the heart of Munich and Stuttgart for example.

I took a great scenic train ride from Freiburg into the Black Forest - up to Titisee - a lake high up in the hills - very nice ride about an hour from Freibourg - the train actually terminates higher up at Seebrugg - where there is a damned up lake and hiking trails around it. Very popular outing for Germans in summer. German railpass would be valid on these mountain trains.
