Germany or Sweden

I have three days to either go to Stockholm or somewhere in Germany and I wanted to get your opinion on which one is better .. I am interested in the daytime activities such as museums and a little history but I would say the nightlife is a little more important . Clubs bars people watching etc. I heard Hamburg is amazing as well as Berlin but wanted some feedback . i'm a single guy and traveling by myself so I want to make the right choice. Thx in advance

Money isn't an issue so either if that's a criteria in choosing

Both will likely have dreary weather at that time - why did you pick places in northern Europe? Where are you coming from?

Every large city in Europe has what you're looking for but and if money is no object toss a coin.

My friends who live in Europe love the nightlife in Berlin.

(No idea how it compares to Stockholm.)

<<Both will likely have dreary weather at that time>>

And what exactly might that time be? I see no reference to time of year in the OP.

Right oh - thought was imminent but yes we don't know.

Stockholm can be good but one thing tourists should keep in mind is that there will be plenty of bouncers with attitudes and private guards keeping people from going outside with drinks. Many places also have guest lists and if you are not on the list you have to wait in line and it's not certain that you will get in. Not sure what they think of men on their own.

I like Riche, Café Opera and Kasai/Ochaya which is fairly new. Google for guest lists otherwise I doubt you'll get in to the last two. Quite good for upscale people-watching depending on the night. All are restaurants/bars as well. You could also try Strandvägen or Berns. Also around Stureplan. If you are looking for hipster/bohemian, you should go to Södermalm (the neighbourhood).
