Germany - Munich - Flohmarkt Riem

Hello Travelers!!

What do you think about visiting the Flohmarkt in Riem? Is it mostly trash or are there some treasures?

Would it be worth a trip up from Bavaria for the day? If you say yes, any tips?

According to the map, it looks doable in a rental car as it appears to be right off of 94 with nice parking!

Thanks!

Rowdy

Sorry, make that a trip up from Oberammergau for the day?

Trash, trash and more trash. Years ago I found a nice clock, but today it's become very commercialized. Old books, comics and records. Not worth going, imho.

Thanks logos999. We aren't interested in trash! My sister collects bone china cups. I think that is what she is intersted in mostly. You can find those in antique stores here. Are there any good antique shops in Munich that you would recommend?

>recommend?
Not really.
You can find those cups rather frequently in Riem. Incomplete sets of course.
