Germany - Meersburg Restaurant Recommendation??

My husband and I will be in Meersburg on the day of my b-day. Any special/romantic restaurants (which of course have great food) that jump out at you?

Thanks!

Have you gone yet?????

I have a FABULOUS RECOMMENDATION -
The Hotel Weinstube.... It was the best food I had in Bavaria and the interior is intimate and beautiful.

markplatz 2 - [it says this on the back of the match book]

Have fun!!!

I assume you plan on seeing the castle while you're there. I've seen many of the "biggies" of Europe, but it was one of my favorites. So old and musty smelling and AUTHENTIC seeming. Enjoy and happy birthday!!

Both Hotel 3 Stuben and Gasthoff Sum Baeren offer excellent dinning. I believe Zum Baeren does not serve on monday.

the Hotel 3 Stuben is great. We stayed in the guest house which overlooked the castle. It was marvelous. I am sure you must have accomodations made but if not look into this Hotel.

the other poster suggested eating there, it was closed when we were there but I did hear it was good.

do you like antiques? there is a fabulous antique store right next to this hotel. the lady is German but lives half of the year in the US in either TX or Fla. She was so nice.

Have fun....
