Germanwings??
 

We are planning to fly germanwings from Milan to Sarajevo in April, returning in May. Tickets to Sarajevo from anywhere are not cheap, and this was the best deal I could find at 79 Euros going and 89 Euros coming. I want to purchase the tickets now (I have noticed an upward price trend on this route that would favor my buying in advance) but I am slightly nervous because I know that many of the discount airlines come and go quickly and I don't want to be out almost USD1000 for our family's tix. Does anyone know anything about germanwings's stability and if they seem to be doing ok?

Germanwings is 100% owned by Lufthansa, and is operating since 2002. Nothing to worry about.

Germanwings are very established

As others have said, it is a 100% subsidiary of Lufthansa and very reliable. Book ASAP, because the cheap tickets sell out quickly.
