German Wings Crazy Days 1€ + tax

Now through Midnight CET 13 May, germanwings.com is selling 300,000 seats for €1 each on all routes to/from Cologne, Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg or Dortmund.

Flight days are 27 May - 31 August 2007.

Note that they fly from airports in many other countries, such as CDG, LGW, and DUB.

Thanks. Air Berlin has the same promotion.

As usual, only flights no one wants...
Interesting are the 9.99€ incl. tax on tuifly. Salzburg to Leipzig 19.98€ rountrip in July. Salzburg - Venice sells for that price too. Germanwings is "lame" .. :-(

"No one wants?"

It's my understanding that in the February-March promotion, they sold out all the seats in about two weeks.

You must mean "logos doesn't want."

>Germanwings
tried booking str-krk in August, claimed 1€ per flight, result was 25€. The amount of "tax" they add is absolutly random. On Tuifly 1€ plus "tax" would be 19.99€.

Most of them are late or early morning flights. Tuifly doesn't promote the 9.99€ from Salzburg, they're always available one or two months in advance.

By the way Memmingen Airport (FMM) will be a new cheapo destination from July. So all the "Neuschwanstein crazy" tourists can fly there instead of Munich and only have a few km to the castles. :-). Wonder why noone asked about this before.
