Aldi as TJ's parent company is based in Essen (Western Germany) where you are likely to find considerably more Hawaiian print shirts than Lederhosen (I'll leave it at that and not comment on whether that shows a better taste ;-) ). But after all, Lederhosen are a Bavarian phenomenon that you are quite unlikely to discover elsewhere in Germany (except with a few small kids whose practical mothers are tired of washing those jeans all the time...).
