Georgian House Hotel in London

I would appreciate any recommendation or non recommendation for a family of 4 thinking of staying here. If anyone has any other recommendations for a low cost fairly nice place to stay in London we would appreciate your input. Thanks.

Which one? There are two...
I've stayed at the one near Baker St. many many years ago. It was fine, a bit "funky" - at that time run by a couple of semi-lunatic sisters or something I thinkit has come up in the world. Here is the current website:

We, two seniors, stayed at the Georgian House - 35-37 St. George's Street - in late August, 1989. It is about 6 blocks behind Victoria Station and was quite adequate. We had one of the top floor rooms with bath 1/2 floor down. Clean, big English buffet/cooked breakfast. Pleasant, cheeerful - 33 pounds per night for two. We felt it was a great bargain.

Correction - that was August,
1998 that we stayed. My fingers
sometimes do strange things!
There are lots more similar type
places all around that area. I
would recommend looking at Rick
Steves' book, or other of that
type, and find other listings.
That is how we found the
Georgian House in the first
place. Good luck.
