You should ask the editor to remove the travel report tag.

You can just buy a return ticket just before the train - flat fee - no reservations possible and can use ticket on any train that day I believe. Avoid taking the Thalys train Brussels to Antwerp as it can cost a ton more - just take the regular IC trains.

Check Belgian railways web site for possible day passes that could be cheaper -
SNCB NMBS
www.b-rail.be/NMBS/SNCB is the National Railway Company of Belgium. Information for rail travel in, to and from Belgium.

and check these superb IMO sources for lots about Belgian trains - www.seat61.com; www.budgeteuroptravel.com and www.ricksteves.com. but no need to buy any ticket in advance for those trips.

I think that if tickets are valid on any train that day or whatever period you may have to cancel the tickets yourself before boarding the train.
