Hiking in March:
In most Swiss winter sport resorts (Wengen/Grindelwald/Muerren included), there are tons of well prepared winter hiking trails which are usually open until Easter.
But I understand that the OP is not into hiking for health reasons.

Gruyeres can easily be combined with the visit of the chocolate factory at Broc nearby. The only railway station luggage lockers in this area are at Bulle

So which travel pass do you recommend?
Paris 7 nights then Lausanne
We will be in Lausanne for 2 nights and taking day trips from there
3 nights in Wengen, again day trips; but interested in scenary, not necessarily mountain tops.
1/2 day in Bern.
Then 2 nights in Strasburg
Please advise.

Swiss hotels give public transportation passes to guests. Here’s a summary:

As we don't know which day trips you plan to to, it's up to you to find the best rails pass.
Already checked Swiss Half Fare Card and https://www.berneseoberlandpass.ch/prices-tickets/ ?

You should look at the Geneva regional pass.

We had booked HGVC Pisa but it is too far away and not possible to do any day trips from there without a car; so we cancelled that and looking to book First week of March near Rome.
We had been to Rome before for 3 days and covered main places in Rome and had a short trip to Florence and Pisa. So now planning to spend this week in Rome, Florence area.
Just deciding on logistics as our flight is reaching to Rome on March 1st late evening and we have a flight from Rome to Paris on March 8th late evening.
Any suggestions?

My suggestion: Start a new thread tagged for Italy. And if you think you saw "the main places in Rome and had a short trip to Florence and Pisa" in 3 days, I would also recommend that you consult a good guidebook.

"You should look at the Geneva regional pass."
It's called LEMAN-ALPES REGIONAL PASS and may be a good soluion for Lake Geneva cruises, Rochers de Naye, Les Pleiades, Gruyeres castle and Broc chocolate factory.
It's validity ends at the entry to Bernese Oberland (Gstaad - Zweisimmen)-
