Gelato in Provence
Reading all the Italy travel reports is making my mouth water for gelato. Unfortunately I'm going to Provence in June, not Italy.
I'll be in Carcassonne, Avignon, Gordes, Arles, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Roussillon, Gordes,St. Remy, Bonnieux, Cannes & Nice.
Anybody have any gelato recs for those towns?
Thanks!
Cobbie

I've never seen Gelato, bur never dined in an Italian restaurant there. You can have famoulous ice creams you can't fond here like Laverder, Rosemary, Curry, so many unique flavors you may see. You will have Sorbet. If you see the tomato one try it, it's wonderful.

There's an excellent gelato shop just off the main plaza in Avignon, on the right as you go down from the Palais des Papes.
In Aice there are several gelato spots. One is right on the Cours Saléya; the other two are off a bit in various streets of Vieux Nice, one being right on the plaza near one of the churches.
In St-Rémy you'll find a gelato stand next to the main parking lot, by the cathedral.
