GCT Russian Waterways-My Photos
Here is a link to my photos from May 2008 GCT Russian Waterways. You may have only time to view the featured album which gives you a flavor for the whole trip. There are a number of albums below that that show more detail of the titled location. For example, people planning to take the trip may want to look at the "On Board the Rossia" album. The Rossia and the Tiki Don are identical. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them. By the way, my husband is the one with the beard and I am the one with him. The other two people in the photos with us are are friends from the golf club.

Great photos, sdtravels! Thanks so much for posting such a comprehensive view of Russia.
I have been twice and look forward to another trip. (And now that I have a Russian DIL, the language will be much easier, lol!)
Now, is there a trip report to accompany these photos? I'd really like to find out your itinerary and how it was on the boat.
Happy travels!

Terrific photos. Looks like you had a great time.
We have taken three GCT trips, and look forward to a Russian trip.
Assuming you have taken other GCT trips, can you comment on the food and the ambience of the ship as opposed to the ships that GCT uses in Europe?
Thanks very much.

Thank you all for your kind comments about my photos. I love taking them so I really appreciate it when someone enjoys them.
You can find my trip report under Just Returned GCT Russian Waterways Trip Report.
I have not traveled with GCT before, and honestly I don't like group tours in general, but I give this rave reviews. We would definitely travel GCT again. I thought the hotels, the food and the cabin were all excellent. And so was the service.

Oh, so they still serve hot tea in glasses that you can't touch without burning your fingers But soup comes in a cup...
Have you traveled with a pair of locals? I see the same ones in several pictures.

Ok, Basingstoke2 you had me going. How could you possibly know my husband's name? Then it dawned on me. You read his name tag in Russian! How brilliant! I'm glad you liked the photos.
