Gays' area in Paris
 

hi all,
what is the name of the gays' area/ place in paris?
please reply ASAP since I am on a 2 days visit to Paris and I need to know ASAP.

I can't provide an exhaustive list, but the Marais is one of them.

If your "Gaydar" isn't operating by now then you are either straight or too drunk to care!

Kate W already gave you the answer. The "gayest" part of Paris is the Marais. That's where you'll find the highest concentration of gay bars and cafes ... in the 4th arondissement (and many places also in the 3rd). There are also some gay places near Montmartre. You might look at the web site www.paris-gay.com, which has a lot of listings, though I can't say if they are up to date or not.

Place Vendôme maybe but it is not the same kind (jewellers).

In summer if you walk along the Right Bank of the Seine in vicinity of Louvre you'll see a gay Paris and a blatantly gay side of Gay Paree as many mainly men sunbathing with only scimpy thongs are laying along the river.
