gatwick to heathrow

How big a hassle is it to go from one airport to another? What about cost? Thanks in advance.

Pat: The trip takes about an hour, depending on traffic of course. We made the transfer in both directions on a trip a couple of years ago. We flew with British Air and they paid for the transfers on the bus. The name of the carrier escapes me at the moment--something like Quick Link or some such thing. In any case, it isn't a big hassle and I don't believe the cost is exhorbitant if your air carrier doesn't take care of it. Hope this helps.

j

I think you will find that the company name is Airlink.

Thank you for your responses. I was so dreading doing this transfer, but it sounds like it isn`t that big a deal.
