Gatwick or Luton???
We have the option of flying into either Luton or Gatwick via Easy Jet. We will be staying near Victoria Station. From what I can tell, Gatwick is more convenient. Since this is my first trip to the UK, what do you veterans suggest? Thanks!
I flew EasyJet to Gatwick last week. I was in Victoria Station within 1 hour of landing. Very easy via the Gatwick Express.

Gatwick is closer to Victoria Station. Consider taking the local train as it only takes about 10 minutes longer and is a few pounds cheaper. Some of the local trains go to Brighton so that city with be the most prominent on the large departure sign.

You can also go to Gatwick from Victoria Station (Buckingham Palace Road stop next to the station) on Green Line 757 bus. Easyjet has a reduced fare of 8.00 return. It takes about 90 minutes.

Thanks to both of you for your replies. Sounds like Gatwick is our best bet.

I MADE A MISTAKE! I meant you can go to Luton by the 757 bus. You may conclude that Luton is not so bad but it is a bit farther away.

Gatwick, no contest. Go by train (Gatwick Express is a bit more expensive than other services that go to Gatwick Airport). Luton is a good airport, but is rather a schlep to get to. However, if your flight from Luton is, say, £35+ less expensive than from Gatwick, you might want to think about trying Luton.
