Gatwick Express Question
I really don't feel like booking online as I have so many e-tickets already in my purse. If I remember correctly you can buy tickets onboard the train from the conducter. Am I right? I don't feel like standing in line at Victoria either.

Yes - you can buy tickets from the conductor.

Thanks janis. I'm glading my memory isn't 100 % gone!

If you want to save money, there are two other train lines that travel between Gatwick Airport and central London, they take about 5-10 mins longer and are much cheaper. You can buy tickets at the machines near the platforms.
Check out First Capital Connect and Southern Trains on: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ (key in Gatwick Airport and London All Stations) Kay |
I didn't mention the other trains KayF cites because you said you don't want to queue. You can't buy tix on those trains - You'd have to queue or buy tix on-line.
For your specific criteria - the GEX is best. |
