Gate 1 - 8 Days Russia Escorted
 

Has anyone taken this tour package?
I am considering traveling in late July 2013 with Gate 1.
Cities offered are Moscow, Novgorod and St. Petersburg.
The price and accommodations look good even for single supplement.
I'm just wondering if anyone else is either looking at Gate 1 or has
done this Russia tour with them already, and what you may have thought
was good or not so good about this company. Since I'll be traveling alone,
I want to be sure I'm booking with a reputable escorted tour provider.

We've had one land tour/cruise with Gate 1, Greece and Greek Islands. We were happy with the experience. We have a Russian riverboat cruise St. Petersburg to Moscow coming up in 77 days, booked through Gate 1.

Why not put "Gate 1" in the search box and see what comes up. The company has been mentioned before on this board. Don't limit the inquiry just to Europe if you want a general impression of the company. It has been in business for far more than a decade (I first heard about it in the late '90s or early '00s).

harrietGF-Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Russia. We depart in 29 1/2 days, and I cannot wait. So excited to visit this beautiful and fascinating country which most of my growing up years was quite elusive to the U.S. traveler. Hope you have a wonderful trip.
