Also, unable to find Blenheim, Germany. Is it anywhere near a major city of interest?

try Mapquest for Blenheim and most German cities have websites. Try Blenheim.de All German cities havd Gashhauses.

Are you looking for a gasthaus in which to stay or to eat and drink? If the latter, believe me, you will have no trouble finding them. If to stay, try the tourist office of the town or city you will be visiting.

I assume that you are looking for the site of the battle of Blenheim. Blenheim is the English version of Blindheim, but the battle is also known in Germany as the Battle of Hochstadt,after Hochstadt-am-Donau which is nearby. The nearest large town is Donauwörth.
