Gambling casinos in Paris & Lyon

Anyone who can give me information about location of casinos in Paris or the south of France? Usually play a little blackjack when away. My wife is also interested since I share winnings with her. If I lose, she doesn,t know me. She thinks tht,s fair deal. Thank you, you wild & crazy guys.

The only casino near Paris is in Enghien-les-Bains about 20 minutes from Paris by train. They have all the table games plus a separate area for slots. There is a small admission charge for both.

In Lyon, it's at the Hilton (near Parc Tete d'Or). No jeans, no sneakers, no shorts. There is a fee to play the table games.

Thank you Bill & Chris. Chris, seems that you have given me good info before. Will be in Lyon for 5 nites in Oct. Staying pretty much in the middle of the city. Do you know if Hilton is well located or if I would need transportation to further away point.

Hi Rich -- Sorry for the late reply (been on vacation).

The Hilton is really out there -- take a cab. It's a 20-25 min walk (some of it REALLY lonely there along the park) from the Hotel de Ville.

There is a brasserie there that's a nice place to grab a drink, but dinner would be expensive (at least to us it was!)

Good luck!
