Oops Thanks to those who wrote I was mixing my galleries up. I did ask Fodors to remove my comment as soon as I finished writing it as I realised it was Pamphilji. Thought it would be removed so didn't correct it.

What a nice visit that proved to be. Hardly any visitors and felt like I had the entire place to myself!


The audio guide is a "MUST" in my opinion as the information about the family makes all come alive.

The Borghese Gallery/Gardens were a "must see" ......on my first visit I had purchased the tickets on line with a set time for my visit. I was glad I had pre-purchased the tickets.
