Galicia to Bretagne trip
 

I'm wondering about a Fodorites trip from Galicia to Bretagne in 2002. I heard it's astoundingly beautiful.

I have been reluctant to get my hopes up about a repeat trip for 2002, but this has the makings of a wonderful idea.<BR><BR>Let's hope there might be some more interest.<BR><BR>Any idea what month would appeal the most? Sounds great for late May or early June, but for my own timetable considerations, October would likely work better.<BR><BR>Annette, are you out there? Mary C? I guess that the implication (on another thread) is that I made this original post so that I could post a reply to it about how it would make a great idea for a Fodorites' trip!<BR><BR>How utterly ridiculous.<BR><BR>Although I would not want to suggest that anyone bother Mari - - she did post her real e-mail address, and she would no doubt verify that she and I are "pen-pals" here at best - - just barely acquainted. I certainly did not post as an imposter, using her name.<BR>

My two days in Bretagne were just barely a whet of the appetite. Definitely not a killer of my interest in doing something like this trip.<BR><BR>It just goes back into the hopper of trips I would like to take still.<BR><BR>Along with plenty of other ideas, and other itches to scratch.<BR><BR>On an odd footnote - - this thread is ALSO "invisible" to the search function - - despite its origins in January 2002 - - but precisely BECAUSE (perhaps?) it contains its last post from Aug 24 2002.

Topping for Terri C.<BR><BR>I cited this thread, though this is not the recent one (can't find it right now), on which I mentioned some destinations or combinations of interest to me in the coming year or two:<BR><BR>Portugal<BR><BR>Galicia (northwest Spain), with or without other Spain or other south/west France.<BR><BR>Almost any France, but especially Bourgogne and southward.<BR><BR>"Central" Europe - - probably two or more itineraries possible - - to include parts of Austria (especially east, and Vienna), Czech Republic, Poland (especially southern), Hungary - - more? (wouldn't rule out Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia or Slovenia)<BR><BR>

So, there really are a pair of these. Never realized that before.<BR>
