Fun Long Layover at Munich airport
 

I can't fnd my original post asking for suggestions for my 5 hour layover at MUC to add this to it. Hmmmm.

I had toyed with the idea of going to Freisling, but actually after investigating a bit, the Kempinski Hotel Spa was looking tempting as a final treat to my St. Petersburg, Russia trip.

So I wandered over there at 7 a.m when my St. P. flight got in, to enjoy a 30 min. massage after using their spa for a similar amount of time.

It is 18E for unlimited spa time in the summer, or 52E for 30 min massage and 30 minute spa circuit.

After a dozen laps in the pool, steam bath, jacuzzi and more laps, I settled into a lovely massage.

They give you a robe and slippers, and you have acces to complimentary teas and bowls of fresh fruit as well as a number of foreign papers to keep you busy afterwards.

It was soooo relaxing!

I think I may travel with my suit in my carry-on from now on!

This sounds like heaven! Thanks for sharing your wonderful idea! We'll probably visit the spa in Badenweiler in September.
