Fully vaccinated Europeans will be able to come to the US

Although why you would want to, I'm not sure! (That's kind of a joke, all)

Excellent work Joe Biden! I can only find this on one network,, so I really hope it's true. Just announced.

Fully vaccinated travellers from Europe will be able to visit the US from the start of November after the White House announced on Monday it was lifting is travel ban after 18 months.

Yes, it’s all over the British media as well. Long overdue, I might add!

I probably have mentioned this before, but I have a friend (here in the U.S.) from Italy who was diagnosed with cancer several months ago, and her parents, both fully vaccinated, have been unable to come see and support their daughter. I was so happy to read this today!

Why would anyone want to come to my state? I go to work, grocery and home. No take out as we have found there are workers that are coming in infected. Not doing quarantine as they need to work. One new place had an infection and a worker's girlfriend told on the local facebook page. Ten knew they were sick. They have shut down and deep cleaned some places but it is taboo to talk about it. Disney is not any better, At least travel to visit family or a safe state.

Now if they'd just open the land border with Canada we could visit our second home in Naples!

I'm glad the Europeans will be able to come over. We met several people who expressed a bit of resentment that we could travel but they could not. We stayed at a chateau in France just last week, and the owner was concerned that he wouldn't be able to travel to Texas for a jousting tournament this fall. I'm not sure if the ban will be lifted in time because a date in November hasn't been announced yet, but he was glad for at least the possibility. On the other hand, the Europeans have a much better handle on COVID with their higher vaccination rates and higher mask usage, so I certainly hope they don't get sick when they visit our largely vaxx-less and mask-less states!
