Full U.S. & Europe Forums Return!
Thanks for all your feedback about the changes we made last month. In response to your overwhelming preference for unfragmented Europe and U.S. forums, we've reinstated them. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience or distress the fragmenting may have caused.

For technical and other reasons, we'll be making some changes to Travel Talk in the coming months. Among the planned upgrades are better search tools and a couple of delightful new bells and whistles. As we develop these functions, we'll be seeking your input (and my mother says her sonny's a slow learner!). Stay tuned. In the meantime, enjoy the restored forums.

One quick plug: If you're interested in cruises, check out our new Cruise How-to's section, which debuts this week.

Yours truly,

Danny Mangin
Editorial Director
Fodors.com
To Danny and your colleagues at fodors.com--My heartfelt thanks for your response to our preference to return to the old way of forum organization.
And, tell your mother I think you are a GOOD learner, never mind the slow part! It's getting there that counts. Thanks so much. Cheers, k

Proving once again this is a class operation. Thank you.

Say, while you're peaking in the world of customer service, could you put in a call to a couple of airlines about their seating arrangements?
|
Thanks a million, Danny and Fodors! You've made a lot of people very happy--and your quick-draw responsiveness deserves a gallery of its own in the Customer Service Hall of Fame.
|
BRAVO!! Thanks for listening.
|
Everyone preaches "Listening to the Customer". Not everyone does it, though.

Thanks, Fodors.

Ed
Fodor's,

Thanks a million!! This is truly an example of "customers first!" I don't know if there are web site awards (like Oscars and Emmys) but there should be and all of you should be the winners.

Adrienne
Thanks Danny and Fodors for listening to our complaints and suggestions. In a world where customer service seems to be lacking, you all are tops in my book.

Tammy

Another thank you! It is great to see that the Fodors editors not only listen, but act, in response to their users' requests.

Far too often, we hear complaints but not compliments. So here is another voice letting you know that your responsiveness is much appreciated.
|
Thank you Danny and the rest of Fodors for listening to us. We really appreciate it!
|
Thanks, Danny! As you must realize by now we all really really appreciate having Europe and the U.S. forums back together again. You made us all very happy and thanks for listening. Now we can all get off your back and on with helping people plan trips, planning our own, and just plain enjoying Fodor's once again.
|
Add another BRAVO! Thanks for listening. Ya dun good!!
|
Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are callin' you
to take a vacation with a gorgeous view, perhaps where old is better than new
no computers, just an ocean view
where all good dreams come true,
and worries are small and few
Now that we've got back the Fodor's we all loved and knew.

I have to say I was getting used to that extra arc off of Europe (not that I ever risked confusing myself by actually clicking on any of those places). The screen looks great!

Dr. Fordor

Mille grazie, vielen Dank, a million thanks for reuniting us, Fodors.

Elvira's going to come back and it will be like my New Coke experience.... On my first trip to Europe, I'd sadly accepted New Coke but when I got back to the States it was GONE (hallelujah).

|
Since I was one of the many irate people who complained about your new format, please accept my thanks for reinstating the old forums. All's well with the world.
