That is the thing--there are no comments. I think that it is a new owner. Then again, that's just my gut feeling. I could be wrong. I really like the apt and the location is where I want to be and the rental stock in Berlin isn't so great so I am taking a chance here.

Cheap--I know! Though look at the stock in Krakow--large 2 bedrooms for 450euro a week!

heck, at this price, how can you go wrong?! Most renters do not enter guest comments after their stay. I will typically enter comments for them based on what they write in my guest book or what they write to me in e-mail. I do edit to make sure I don't reveal anything too personal about them and keep it to just about their stay. For future reference, you can always inquire if there are zero guest comments if she can provide anything on that. I, certainly, as an owner would not mind that request. Have a great time and write back if you think of it to let us know how it was!

Hi ncountry - do you mind telling me where your rental is? Just generally, if you prefer.

We have rented apartments, cottages and farmhouses in Italy and France as well as Hawaii and each time were responsible for a sizeable deposit up front and the balance anywhere from 1 month to 2 weeks in advance. If this concerns you, maybe travel insurance gives you the assurance you want should you have to cancel out at the end.

Hi Lennyba,

My second home is in Park City, Utah. It sits on 13 acres and is a 2500 sq ft, 3 BR, 3BA home. It is listed on the vrbo website if you search "13 acre view estate"....I don't want to place a direct link and appear to be promoting anything here. I have it rented out as much as I want to. It is pretty rugged terrain in the winter which I am very used to but I worry that others are not so I tend to hover and worry like a mother hen that my guests are able to access it.

Thanks, nccountry. It looks great...maybe someday we'll have a reason to go to Park City.
