I really like the Bewley's coffee and tea. I usually purchase some to carry home. The Bewley's Oriental Cafe on Grafton street is a good place for coffee/sandwich. Hey, I can get Starbucks(which I do love) at home!
Many of the B&B's use instant coffee--not to good! The "bacon" or rashers is like our sliced ham. We never found bacon like they have in U.S. The eggs are a deeper yellow. Great bread (brown or soda). Don't eat the black pudding--ugh! This isn't about breakfast, but besure and carry wash cloths, for some reason they don't use them (we never found them). I usually go to Wal-mart type of store and purchase a bundle of cheap ones and use them as disposible towels.

Washcloths are widely used in Britain, UK etc. they are called flannels. However, they are not provided by hotels. Just a quirk, I guess :)

I did not mean to imply that you should not eat black or white pudding. I loved TRYING it! One of the reasons we love to travel. Just saying, I only took a bite and did not like it. Also, did not like their bacon or sausage but glad I tried it! Really liked most pub food! They serve lots of potatoes!!!
