Fulham FC vrs Leeds UTD

Hi

I'M going to be in London in early decmber and i wondering if it would be possible to get tickets to Fulham football club vrs Leeds united. Can anyone suggest the best way purchase tickets and if it would be possible to get tickets.

check out their webpage and see if you can buy tickets online. i did that in manchester for manchester city and we had no problems. you can pick up the tickets at the stadium.

no idea Jul 24th, 2002 05:03 AM

I have no idea but would recommend that you try the Fulham Football club website first and see what is says there. Give them a call also!! If you want tickets then booking early would be adviseable or you could face getting ripped off by Touts!

Not really sure of any better plan of action!!

Tickets usually go on sale about 3 weeks before the match. As others suggested, try Fulham first. If they don't have any, then try Leeds. It's unlikely that Leeds will have any, as the visitors usually don't get that many tickets, and season ticket holders usually take most of those, but you never know.

Then try a broker. You will pay more, but if you really want to go... If all else fails, try the ground before the match, and buy it off a tout.

At the risk of being patronising....

Are you aware that Fulham aren't playing in Fulham for the forseeable future? They are ground sharing with Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Rd, quite some way from Fulham.

Tickets shouldn't be too much trouble if you get in early enough (FFC aren't particularly well supported). Good luck with the filth that follow Leeds though.

The filth that follow Leeds! Please expand on this comment! Please do tell me what side you support and that there is no 'filthy' element among them.

ManU Jul 24th, 2002 08:46 AM

ManU is coming back this year. That's who you want to see, at the Old Trafford, the best place to see the BEST football.
Well I had not heard that Fulham was not playing at Craven Cottage this season. Shame. I have fond memories of seeing my first English football match at Fulham, with Fulham vs Reading (when they were both in first division). Great fun, intimate little ground, and very, um, how shall I say, atmospheric.

Is Craven Cottage being renovated or will they no longer use the grounds?

Thanks

No, mates, you are wrong. It is Spurs!
Come on you Spurs!

Does old what's his face still own Fulham? You know, the Arab that owns Harrods and has tried several times and been rejected to obtain British citizenship? He used to. What's his name anyway, Fahed Fazed Fahrt Fahrthead? Something like that

That's what Man U said last year, when they overpaid for Seba. Now they've overpaid for Rio. Their only hope is that John O'Shea lives up to his potential.

Reading this thread reminds me of the "Scottish Soccer Hooligans" skit by Mike Myers on Saturday Night Live.

Yes the phony pharoah does own Fulham, which makes me very doubtful if the redevelopment will ever come off. I suspect they'll join Chelsea in receivership and the site will be sold of for development.

Re: Filthy Leeds. Leeds fans have a deserved reputation as violent, racist thugs (a tradition proudly carried on by the team), earned over many years.

The away support of any team is a distillation of the "hardcore" supporters of that team. Thus Leeds' away support is verminous in the extreme.

I support Tottenham who are certainly no saints in this regard but look like Gandhi in comparison with LUFC.

I tried to be positive about it when Liverpool agreed a fee for Bowyer, but I was SO happy when he turned out to be the complete idiot I had thought he was all along. Glad he's staying in mediocre land.

who Jul 25th, 2002 11:15 AM

Who lives in Craven Cottage anyway? The groundskeeper? The manager? The unnamed Arab bloke that owns the team? And, who was Craven? Wasn't he a hero of some long ago campaign in Lower Slobbovia against the heathen Serbs?
