From Zurich --->Basel---->Colmar (Fr.)

Heading to Basel this weekend and meeting my friend who travel from Zurich to Basel by train; does anybody knows which station she is going to land in Basel? We have to figure out a meeting point otherwise we will get lose...
Also, from Basel to Colmar, recommend to go by train or domestic flight?

She will arrive at the main Basel railway station off Centralbahnstrasse. You could meet her under the big arrivals/departures board.

Definitely go by train to Colmar, it is only a one hour trip!

May I know how to get to the Main Basel Railway Station (Centralbahnstrasse) from the Basel airport (I will fly from Paris to Basel)?
The cheapest way I mean I cannot afford taxi....and how long it takes?

Hi, could you tell me what airline you are flying with to Basel. How much was your ticket?

There is a bus from the airport to the Basel SBB station that takes 20 minutes and costs 3.80 Swiss francs.

Note the following. That's the station where you should meet your friend.

BASEL SBB (Swiss Federal Railway) HB (Hauptbahnhof - main railway station).

bluenose, my ticket was from HK to Paris then to Basel, cost around USD1,000.00

Enjoy Colmar, but try and spend a little time in Basel! It has a pretty old town, interesting cathedral, some very nice restaurants and cafes, tiny little streets to explore.
