From Venice mestre to Modena
 

Hello!
I' m trying to book railway tickets from ven. mestre to modena. Are there more than one rail stations in Modena? We want to go to the new museum of enzo ferrari and to moranello. Because when we try to book from trenitalia it gives us more than one options: 1. modena, 2. modena piazza manzoni, 3. modena policlinico. Can anybody help me? Please.....

I didn't see more than one when I was there a few years ago.

It's the Stazione di Modena

Most likely, you will train to Bologna, then change to a local train to Modena.

If you've not been there before, some of the best food in Italy is in this region.

We will take the train from venice-mestre. Do we need to change trains to Bologna? because if my information is right I think there is a train going straight to Modena from mestre.

I have checked the complete schedule and did not find a train fro Venezia Mestre directly to Modena. Every option I saw required a change of train in Bologna. Which train did you see that goes directly?

From www.trenitalia.com it shows that there is the option to take a train from venezia mestre to modena directly.

What time do you see this train? All the ones I saw have "Bologna" in the "Change Station/Soluzione con cambio"column.

It leaves at 05:44 from ven.mestre

For the 05:44 from Venezia Mestre you must change trains at Bologna. The train from Mestre to Bologna goes south along one train line. At Bologna you must switch to a train headed north along a different train line to reach Modena.
