WT- sorry to highjack for a sec.
Tower- how did you like Essaouria?
We are thinking about going for memorial day.

Thanks Stu..that is great to hear!! NIce to hear specifics from someone who has been there!

I was most nervous about Lalla mira because there is little written about it ( not like the one in Fez that has endless praises and is #1 on tripadvisors for B&B's in Fez..easy to be more confident there).

So it is especially nice to hear some info about that. The pictures of the town certainly make it look enchanting. I read some where that if you do not like Essouria , you have no soul. LOL ;)

We tend to like picturesque villages and it certainly looks charming.

No problem laartista...the more the merrier...we have wondered a bit from the original ...but it is all good.More info for all of us going..or revisiting in your case.

Wow, returning already laartista?? Sounds like Morocco captured your heart ( BTW I hear the shopping deals are even BETTER there) ;) Good more entertaining trip reports to enjoy!

Yep, WT morocco did capture my heart and yep, planning on going back so soon. My friend Robin just got recalled as a Delta flight attendent so I get buddy passes Whoo Hoo! We are thinking of 5 days in Essaouria.Psych, and I will ride a camel again, this time on the beach.

Cool laartista! We get to hear more of your adventures in Morocco with Robin ;) You have gotten me psyched!

Reading through this exhausting post I have to express my dismay at just how much misinformation there is on here. Had I never stepped foot in this country I'd be completely confused and even put off visiting based off the half-truths or outright wrong info being given.

And yes, we do have wi-fi in Morocco!

Well, please enlighten us to where you see errors. I have been reading and reading and there seems to be LOTS of conflicting information about Morocco, so it is not an easy one to figure out.

I am all ears!
