From Pozzallo to Enna - need help
 

Hi all

I am going to drive from Pozzallo to Enna...on the way one has to pass through Modica > Ragusa > Caltagirone....what about Scoglitti, Punta Secca, Gela, Dirillo Lake, Licodia Eubea and the Morgatina area? which are the best places to pass through and visit?

Hi ramazz82 and welcome to fodors. We did almost exactly this trip about 4 years ago when we had been staying in Ragusa for a few days and were travelling on to Piazza Armerina to visit the Villa Casale. It actually took us most of the day to do that route, with a long stop in Caltagirone, which could have been longer if we'd had the time. If it were me, I'd want at least a night in Ragusa, spending a good few hours in Modica en route, and then next day spending several hours in Caltagirone en route to Enna. And I would want to allow for half a day at the Villa Casale, preferably first thing in the morning before it gets really hot.

I'm afraid that I can't help you with any of the other places you mention as we never got there.
