From Portsmouth Brittany Ferrries to Portsmouth Train station help

Will be arriving in Portsmouth via Brittany Ferrries. Need to get to Portsmouth train station. Do we take a cab? How far is it? Any idea about how much it will cost? Just want to know about how many pounds we need to get at the station.

Thanks

Portsmouth isn't very big - take a taxi - £10 should cover it and give you change.

I think the station is "Portsmouth and Southsea" but there is only one line so it probably doesn't matter as long as you get to a station.

Yes, Portsmouth & Southsea Station (locally known as the town station) is probably slightly closer to the Continental Ferry Port than the Portsmouth Harbour Station but there's not a lot in it.

Regards.
