From Plaça de Catalunya to Estacio Sants

Hi there,

I have to catch a train from Sants station leaving for S.Sebastian at 07:35 am. What is the most efficient way to get there from Placa de Catalunya? Taxi, or metro?

All help will be appreciated.

HERE'S A MAP; If you stay on Line3, no changes but at that hour it might be faster just to take a taxi; I know, more expensive but what's it worth?

Hey M,

Inform your staff that you will require they take you to the station.

Otherwise, take a cab.

Ira - you're wearing your Monday morning humor! Lovin' it!! Please advise what you ate for breakfast 'cause I want some of that.

Thanks for giving me a couple of chuckles!

If you don't want to take an inexpensive taxi, just hop on any train towards/via Sants at Pl. Catalunya Rodalies station -- NOT the metro.
Use the entrances which sport the "R" logo for Rodalies trains.
You will save the walk thru the connecting tunnels from Sants metro to Sants train station as the R/Rodalies trains call at Sants train station, i.e. also where your long-distance train to San Sebastian will leave from.
If you have already bought your long-distance train ticket, the four minute ride from Catalunya to Sants with the Rodalies trains can be done with the regular T-10 ticket or a single ride ticket.

Personally, I'd just hop into a cab. I doubt it will cost more than €6-7.

Thanks for all the feedback. I'll inform my staff accordingly!
I think I'll take a cab.
