From Paris to the Riviera (15 days honeymoon)

Thank you for the wealth of information on this forum... I didn't even need to start any new posts and had all my questions answered!

My wife and I recently went on a 15 days honeymoon which took us from Paris, to central Provence, and ended our honeymoon in the French Riviera. I would like to thank all the contributors for making my honeymoon so fantastically memorable.

P.S. lots of pictures

Thank you!

Wow! You sure know how to give back. Great report and even greater format. You've become a Fodorite in the best way.

Very enjoyable report. Thanks, babuamus and Happy Anniversary.

A tour guide once told us that all accidents on the étoile were considered no-fault because of that chaos!

In Arles I could see the café Van Gogh painted—gave me chills!

Thank you for all the support!
I love reading trip reports and I never knew how long it takes to actually write one until now. So kudos to all trip report contributors out there!

babuamus-------I'm surprised at how few Fodorites commented on your excellent report. The format and content should be of help to many. Thanks again for posting.

Hi Babuamus - I'm reliving the trips we took to Paris, Provence and Nice. In two months we are going back to Nice and I enjoyed reading about your walks around Monaco. We did the same and had a picnic near the playground below the palace. We also walked to the casino but did not go in. We will be staying in Nice for one week and Villefrance sur Mer three days. Did I miss what apartment you stayed in in Nice? Thanks really enjoyed your report.

Hi Micheline,
You walked into Monaco from Cap D'ail as well??? Very Nice!
You really didn't miss anything by not going INTO the casino itself as it was more hype/pretentious than anything else. My honeymoon was the first time we've been to continental Europe so we stayed at all the popular locations (Paris, Avignon, Nice), but the next time we go I will definitely stay at smaller towns such as Antibes or Villefranche-sur-Mer.

In Nice we found an apartment via airBnB... after such awesome apartment stays (In Paris and Nice) I don't think we will be staying in hotels for vacations 4 days or more... anywhere.
